Couldn’t wait to leave. Would not book again. Negative: The property had a terrible smell. We had to buy air freshener. Compared to other properties for similar value, this was at the bottom of the list.

A place to sleep at the SES Stage 4 weekend Positive: We were up for the Scottish Enduro Series final stage (mountain biking) volunteering. House is in quiet location and only 5 minutes drive from Nevis Range. Handy for very early bed and then getting to site before 7am! The tray for muddy / wet boots (must get one for our house) by the front door is a great thought. Very quick reply from owners when we had a wee query. Kitchen was very well-equipped. Plenty of storage and full size fridge freezer. Handy for getting back and cooking after a long day. Negative: Some of the pillows were lumpy.

Es war alles in Ordnung, danke. Positive: Die Unterkunft an sich war sauber und gepflegt. Zudem war alles zugegen, was man als Selbtversorger benötigt. Negative: Die Einrichtung ist wie die Elektroheizung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hier sollte man einmal über eine Modernisierung nachdenken, was auch für den Vermieter eine Preiserhebung als Maßnahme rechtfertigen würde. Der „Unternieter“ auf dem Dachboden über dem Wohnzimmer(Marder?), sollte man sich einmal annehmen.

A beautiful place in Fort William Positive: This property has everything you need to relax and enjoy time in Fort William. Love the kitchen, lounge room and bedroom. There’s also a washing machine plus dryer in the shed. There was parking, it’s close to the water if you feel like a walk. The owners kept in touch and made check-in easy. I highly recommend this property. If you have a car it’s a great, central location for visiting Fort Augustus or Glenfinnan Viaduct. Negative: We struggled to get the TV working but we managed. The remote may need new batteries. Everything was great.
