George Street Apartment

Very comfy beds, confusing instructions Positive: The apartment is spacious, quiet, and quite close to everything important, including amazing history museum. For local standards, the mattresses were comfy. Our duvets and pillows, however, were superb, comfy and soft. We also appreciated the TV, equipped kitchen, modern wardrobe, hair dryer, and good sunshades. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Negative: Important: when you try to navigate to the apartment via Booking, the search bar shows one building number, the address a second one and the map a third one – neither of which is the actual building, so searching for the correct house in pouring rain was sheer guessing. The host could simply directly say which house to search for, based on appearance and surroundings (not a company that moved away). My concern was the hygiene of a rental flat with rugs everywhere, but for a short stay, it was fine. What could however be very easily fixed, was the cleanliness of the shower, which was a bit dirty. I would also appreciate multiple bins for separating trash instead of pilling it. In general, the apartment was quite enigmatic for us: an apparent heater wasn't heater at all. Also, there was a measuring instrument counting the price of electricity under the TV for no reason.

Excellent stay. Positive: It was clean, tidy and contained everything needed for a stay. Very central and within walking distance of everything. Would recommend to anybody. Great sized rooms. Negative: Noisy extractor in bathroom. Draught excluder on living room door needs sorted. Twin room could do with a chest of drawers.

Vörösköves épület közel a kompkikötőhöz. Positive: Számunkra nagyon jó helyen volt a szállás. Minden rendben volt a helyszínnel, kényelmes terekkel, szobákkal. A szállás megtalálása volt nehézkes az itiner kissé félrevezető volt, de végül is megtaláltuk. Negative: A szállás leírása lehetett volna korrektebb, egyértelműbb.

Positive: Excellent value 2 bed apartment. Good facilities and location. Negative: Instructions for the property location weren't accurate.

Central Apartment in Oban Positive: Spacious apartment in excellent location for ferries, and close to restaurants, shops and attractions . The flat is part of an old building and is located on the top floor on the one level, whilst a business occupies the floors below. West holidays were helpful in supporting us promptly with directions for parking which should be added to the booking instructions. Very useful to have toiletries in bathroom and tea/ coffee in kitchen on arrival. Both bedrooms were very good sizes , Negative: Apartment was up two flights of stairs , so be mindful of taking up luggage. Also apartment in need of redecorating and maintenance as paintwork was peeling ,bedroom door not shutting, skirting board in bathroom flaking , Furniture could have been so much better - wardrobe/ chest of drawers in twin room would be ideal, living room was small and furniture very basic,although sofas were comfortable. This apartment has such potential if upgraded !
