Talisker Apartment No.12

Great visit to the MacDougall clan homeland! Positive: The apt was clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for walking to everything in Oban. Lovely view of the harbor from our 4th floor room. And for the hale and hardy, the access to Jacob’s ladder was alongside the building to enable a tour of McCaig’s Tower Negative: Only negative for apartment 12 is there is no lift in the building. So be prepared for lugging your luggage up 4 flights(69 steps) up and down. Good cardio though

2 night stay back in my home town. Positive: Ideally situated at the foot of Jacob's Ladder in the centre of the town. Just a short stroll to the many pubs and restaurants and very walkable (5 minutes) from the main ferry port and train station. For the more energetic, Jacob's Ladder takes you to the foot of McCaig'sTower which gives amazing views over the town and out to the islands of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore. Negative: Nothing to dislike.

Great value for money , excellent location , linen towels all good quality , only draw back no lift to floor 4 , so if y Positive: Excellent location ,everything needed fir a short stay Negative: No lift

Highly recommended, very central location!! Positive: The location was absolutely central Negative: The shower, was not easy to adjust, the early check out (10am)

Positive: Clean, well appointed apartment with everything you corn need for a start in Oban. In the town centre, close to the harbour, train station & all bars & restaurants Negative: The apartment is on the 4th floor (68 steps up) with no lift, but I didn't find this a problem at all
