Ardbeg Apartment No.3

Looked to be the best of a bad bunch for a relatively last minute overnight stay in Oban, location is good but apartment Positive: Good location, well equipped. Negative: Uncomfortable bed, very poor shower, studio is so hot - needs air con or a Dyson style fan as there’s no airflow, the public footpath directly outside the window is noisy.

Ideal and would stay again. Positive: The property was central and within walking distance of all amenities.It was ideal for a 3 night stay. Small cupboard to store clothes was ideal. Negative: We had to keep blind shut as the window was next to stairs up to McCaig’s Tower.

Great location, uncomfortable bed! Positive: The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of Oban, and within walking distance of all the main facilities. Negative: It’s very compact, in fact quite tight, with a small uncomfortable bed.

The flat served its purpose. Positive: Great location 2 Mins walk to the harbour, 6/7 walk to the ferry port. The flat was well furnished and clean and had all we required. Negative: We were in apartment No 3 which is on the ground floor, unfortunately the only window in the flat faced on to a pedestrian thoroughfare which was especially busy and noisy at night . There was no anti slip mat in the shower! Causing the possibility of a slip or fall. The entry through the main door is via a numbered key pad, on numerous occasions the internal exit door turn button was left in the open position allowing unrestricted access to the stairwell of the property!!! We feel that the property owners should highlight on there web page that they only supply 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel that is fine and well for a 1 night stay but we were on the flat for 4 nights!
