Plum Tree Pod

It was a really lovely stay. We didn't meet the owner, but everything was as described. Positive: The property was just as described; clean, with a pretty well equipped kitchen (not that we ended up using more than the kettle and some plates), and some instant coffee. Towels, sheets were provided, and we got some clean towels after a few days as well. We did turn on the heat one chillier night, and it was working; otherwise, it was too warm at the moment to experiment with it. The terrace has a lovely view over the lake. We really enjoyed the privacy of the property; it was like a little cabin in the woods. Negative: Nothing really. It is not a negative as such, but worth noting that the pod is up on a quite steep hill from the centre (it's a short, 6-7 minute walk from the High Street, but does involve a few flights of stairs or some steep streets). So, if you really don't like uphill walking, it may be an issue. There are also stairs from the street to the pod.

Positive: Everything was thought out and all needs were met, right down to the umbrellas outside the Pod. Kitchen was fully equipped and good instructions available how to work the microwave and the hob. Negative: Everything was good so nothing to dislike
