Aonachan Cottage

Positive: Everything especially the designs of it, hot tub, and clear instructions for everything Negative: Had a fuse blow, and was told the wrong place of the fuse box and was in darkness for over a hour- was very late so not effecting the rating

Clean, tidy, cozy, secure, not cheap. Positive: Secure, with a high fence back garden and the property is dog friendly. Negative: Was over £500 for 3 nights which we felt was a bit much.

Nice cosy cottage but needs some updating and repairsA lot of the blinds don’t go up or down - downstairs bathroom and kitchen Ground floor bedroom door handle comes offIcons have been rubbed off oven making it difficult to fan oven cook - couldn’t find a manual Hot tub only half the jets work Kitchen needs scales and a whisk and a bin with a foot oedalLots of dvda but couldn’t find a dvd player Very difficult to access off road parking Lots of communication and clear arrival departure instructions and lovely location to explore.

Exactly what was needed. Definitely book again. Positive: Very relaxing Great location Easy access Hosts were easily to communicate with if needed Negative: Hand rail on stairs would be good. Blinds in upper floor bedroom and kitchen needed repaired. Lights in garden good however could have more at hot tub. Little things but not a hindrance to our stay.

3 night stay, for Ben Nevis hike Positive: Really lovely cottage, perfectly placed for visiting Ben Nevis. Beautifully decorated, with mood lighting too. Well equipped, for a 3 night stay and beyond. Hot tub was a godsend after our climb, and was ready and waiting for us on arrival. Negative: Driveway is challenging to negotiate, door handle on downstairs bedroom sliding door needs a repair as it kept falling off. However, neither of these things spoiled our enjoyment and experience at the cottage.
