Hillside Apartment

Has great potential but seems to be somewhat “tired” and in need of thorough maintenance asap Positive: The kitchen was fine - well kitted out The bedding and quilts were good The table in the living room was good with a good selection of items needed to set a table for meals The apartment was very close to Tobermory and you can easily walk there. Negative: This sounds very negative but we want to let you know the following concerns so that anyone else using the apartment does not have to deal with them. There has not been any general maintenance on the outside of the building for what looks like YEARS! The windows are filthy. In the living room, there was a hankie stuffed into the top RHS of the mirror, the cord for the blind on the window next to the TV is missing, we had GREAT difficulty in getting the heaters to give out heat - the one underneath the large mirror did not work the whole time. The bathroom across from the room with the twin beds, has two holes where a towel rail obviously was, the mirror on the wall of the same bathroom is dangerous - it is NOT connected to the wall and fell out! The door of the shower is very stiff and does not close unless given a significant push - needs lubrication. The cold tap in the sink is constantly dripping - new washer needed asap. The shower in the larger bedroom runs at a very high temperature and you cannot put your head underneath to wash your hair. In the bedroom with the twin beds, there were LARGE cobwebs directly above the bed I was sleeping in and the wardrobe in that bedroom has been very poorly assembled with the door not fitting properly. These comments are not said to be critical, but they all need attended to (especially the outside which does NOT make a good first impression!)

Positive: Location was excellent. Close to Tobermory. Was a large property, comfortable and brilliant for 4 adult family Negative: Nothing

It was very good. Positive: It was clean and warm with a good well-equipped kitchen Negative: Shaving mirror in the twin room loo did not work. Not enough air freshener. When I reported shampoo container had fallen and broken, there was no concern for our safety about shards and no offer to replace it.

was perfect for us, a great visit to Mull Positive: Great location, basically just in town, close to the main street and the distillery and the water. Spacious comfortable.

Peaceful and straightforward. Positive: Incredibly spacious, easily accommodated 4 but would take 6 easily. Huge living space and massive master bedroom. 8 min walk into Tobermory so ideal location. Apartment was well equipped. Negative: More parking would be ideal as there appears to be one space per flat.
