Ben View Room & Jacuzzi Bath

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS Negative: There is a resident cat that will climb in through window into the room - the managers of the property will brush it off and say it is friendly. Meanwhile it tried to climb into our room in the middle of the night and hissed and clawed at me. The managers of the property are well aware of this cat but do not advertise it and will not do anything about it. If you are allergic or have someone with you that is fearful of cats then you can expect the property managers to except no blame at all, they will just twiddle their thumbs. Jacuzzi is useless unless you are okay with a super hot room or having the resident cat join you. There is a set of patio doors in the jacuzzi room but they do not have a screen. If you open them the cat will be right there waiting for you. Workers entered our room without our permission try to fix the broken a/c. Our personal belongings were out while this happened. There "solution" for the broken A/C was to open the window - the same window that the cat had gotten in the night before. Expect to be kept up all night by upstairs tenants. FYI the noises will not be for kids. After all of this happened the property managers argued with me when I suggested some form of refund for what had happened. They took no responsibility at all. I have never once requested a refund or left a review on one of these sites but I felt it was warranted. Luckily we only had 2 nights at this location. I remember thinking I had found a hidden gem when I booked this location - this place was far from it. I wish I could go back to when I was planning my trip, I would have spent a bit more money if needed to avoid this terrible place.

Nice and Comfy. Two thumbs up! Positive: Nice place and good price. We had a jacuzzi in our room which was a nice addition. Close to town. Easy in and out. We were a late booking and were only staying one night but everything went smooth. Would definitely stay there again.
