Ben View Room 3

Good sleep, breakfast there and then head off for day, ideal! Positive: Nice location, clean, plenty of free parking. Lovely surprise of a welcome package of porridge, bottled water and breakfast biscuits as well as tea/coffee/milk sachets. Handy having a bus route nearby if you don't want to drive into town. Negative: Making sure you don't bang your head on slope of roof when accessing certain areas of room.

Un po’ scomodo e non caratteristico. Positive: La stanza era abbastanza comoda e pulita Negative: La posizione e la totale assenza di persone della struttura. Ben view si trova in cima ad una collina piuttosto alta e che la rende di difficile accesso da Fort William e dai servizi. Serve la macchina, oppure si cammina circa 25 minuti in salita. Self check-in/ out e nessun contatto con l’ oste. Personalmente, lo trovo troppo asettico.

All in all we had a great stay and would recommend. Loved the little touches in the room 😁 Positive: It was very easy to locate the property and get the keys. Emails came through no problem with all the details needed. Negative: The neighbours arrival at 11pm wasn’t great, and they were very loud in the room next door, despite the quiet time being indicated from 11pm-7am. The extractor fan for the bathroom wasn’t working (though not a problem for us). It would be nice if the TV’s were updated to allow Netflix etc.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend Ben View 2 Negative: The location is disappointing, and there were no garden views as advertised. Guests are also expected to wash their dishes and take the trash out before checkout. During my stay a stray cat with fleas entered the property because the front door was left open, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The experience was poor enough that I shortened my stay and left earlier than planned. I would not stay here again.
